German research university. Its **Institute of Parallel and Distributed Systems (IPVS)** was the organisational home of Christoph Gröger, Holger Schwarz and Bernhard Mitschang when they published the 2014 BIS paper proposing recommendation-based Business Process Optimization (rBPO) on a holistic process warehouse — an early articulation of prescriptive process monitoring, with a manufacturing (steel-spring) proof of concept.
