# Verenich et al. 2018 — PPM in Apromore (Nirdizati integration)

Tool paper documenting the integration of **Nirdizati** (an open-source PPM tool) into **Apromore** (the open-source process-analytics platform co-founded by [[entities/marcello-la-rosa]] and [[entities/marlon-dumas]]).

## Contribution
- Two plugin bundles: **Training** (takes an event log, produces predictive models) and **Runtime** (streams predictions from a live event stream).
- Predictions shown via dashboard or exportable CSV.
- Supports remaining-time, next-events, outcome, and compliance-rule-violation prediction.

## Significance
The **deployable-tooling milestone** for PPM. Bridges the academic/industrial gap and operationalises the research agenda set in [[sources/2016-verenich-general-framework-ppm|Verenich 2016]].

The Apromore directory contains two PDFs of the same paper — the Springer LNBIP version (`Predictive Process Monitor in Apromore verenich2018.pdf`) and the QUT preprint (`Predictive Process Monitoring in Apromore.pdf`). Different MD5; same content.
